The Jomon Period was Japan's stone age. While the origin of the Jomon people remains unclear, their civilization developed over 10,000 years. The beauty of the tools and other relics that they left is unique among world civilizations. Sahoko Aki has meticulously studied Jomon period archeological treasures and has created highly original and fascinating new works.
